Jim Miller

President, Miller Global Properties, LLC

Jim Miller is President of Miller Global Properties and is responsible for all facets of the company's day-to-day operations. The Company focuses on the development, acquisition and ownership of high quality hotels and office buildings throughout the United States and Europe

Jim began his real estate career when he joined Miller-Davis Co. in 1978 after graduating from Yale University. During his tenure at Miller Davis, he was responsible for the leasing, marketing and management of several prominent office buildings including Fox Plaza and the Water Garden in Los Angeles. He is was involved in the operations of the Pebble Beach Co. and the development of the major hotel and office projects.

In 1993, Jim and his father, Micky Miller, started a new real estate company. They acquired office buildings and hotels and various partners, including Philip Anschutz, Rockfeller Associates Realty and Yearmouth, In 1996 they formed Miller Global, a partnership with Global Holdings. Global is a privately held entity with major interests in the cargo shipping and cruise line industries.

Shortly after their formation, Miller Global began venturing with Pension Funds, creating value added real estate investment fund vehicles. To date, Miller Global has formed six US Investment Funds and one European Investment Funds, totaling more than $1 billion of equity. Jim and his father have been responsible for raising this equity as well as creating and implementing the investment strategies for these funds. Miller Global has been involved in over 85 properties totaling more than $2.5 billion of asset value comprising over 3,300 hotel rooms and 11 millions square feet of office space

Jim resides in Denver, Colorado. He is married and has children, ages 14, 12 and 10.
